1. Construction Preparation Works:
- Verify the conditions for commencement of the construction project.
- Review the suitability of the contractor’s construction equipment and manpower.
- Check permits/licenses for the use of machinery, equipment, and materials subject to safety requirements for construction activities.
- Review and approve the construction method statement (construction organization plan).
- Inspect laboratories and facilities for the production of materials, components, and construction products serving the contractor’s construction works.
- Review the suitability of materials and equipment proposed for use in the project, and approve the types of materials, supplies, and equipment submitted by the contractor.
- Verify manufacturers’ quality certificates, test results issued by accredited laboratories, and quality inspection/verification results issued by organizations recognized by competent state authorities for materials, components, construction products, and installation equipment prior to their use in the project.
2. Inspection and Supervision During Construction:
- During the contractor’s construction process, dedicated supervision consultants (TVGS) are continuously present on site to monitor construction quality.
- Supervise the contractor’s construction activities to ensure compliance with the approved design and applicable laws and regulations.
- Inspect and carry out acceptance of construction works in accordance with design requirements and current legal regulations.
- Inspect and supervise the contractor’s surveying and measurement system, including coordinates, elevations, control networks, monitoring systems, etc.
- Verify as-built drawings.
- Identify errors or inadequacies in the design and recommend adjustments to the Employer or request revisions from the design contractor.
- Coordinate with the Employer to organize re-inspection and quality assessment of work sections, components, or the entire project when there are concerns about quality.
- Coordinate with the Employer and relevant parties to resolve issues and arising problems during construction.
- Propose measures to rectify defects identified during the construction process.
- Prepare and submit monthly construction progress reports to the Employer.
- Verify quantities for payment and final settlement of the project.
