WHAT IS GEOTUBE PIPE CONSTRUCTION?
Geotube construction (also known as geotextile tube construction, or Geotube dike construction) is the process of installing, pumping and fixing geotextile tubes containing materials (such as sand, mud, soil) to create coastal protection structures, dikes, revetments, or sludge treatment facilities.
CONTENTS OF CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION CONSULTING FOR VUNG-XE DO SON PROJECT
* Construction preparation work:
- Check the conditions for starting construction works.
- Check the suitability of construction equipment and manpower of Party B.
- Check the license to use machinery, equipment and materials with safety requirements for construction works.
- Check and approve construction organization measures.
- Check the quality management system of Party B in construction works.
- Inspect laboratories and production facilities of construction materials, components and products serving the construction of Party B constructing the project.
- Check the suitability of materials and equipment that Party B is preparing to use for the project. Approve the types of materials, supplies and equipment that Party B proposes to use for the project.
- Check the manufacturer's quality certificate, test results of qualified laboratories and equipment quality inspection results of organizations recognized by competent state agencies for materials, components, construction products and equipment installed for the project before putting them into the project.
- Check conditions and measures to ensure labor safety, environmental hygiene and fire and explosion prevention during construction.
* Inspection and supervision during construction process
- During the construction process, a specialized supervision consultant is directly present at the site to supervise the construction quality of the project.
- Supervise the construction process of Party B to comply with the design and current legal regulations.
- Check and accept the types of materials and supplies brought into the project.
- Check and accept construction works in accordance with design requirements and current legal regulations.
- Check and monitor the surveying system for the works of Party B such as: coordinates, elevation, control network, monitoring system, ...
- Confirm as-built drawings.
- Detect errors and design irregularities to request Party A to make adjustments or request Party B to make design adjustments.
- Coordinate with Party A to re-inspect the quality of construction components, construction items and construction works when there is doubt about the quality.
- Coordinate with Party A and relevant parties to resolve problems and issues arising during construction.
- Propose measures to handle defects detected during construction.
- Prepare monthly construction progress reports and send them to Party A.
- Confirm volume of service payment and construction settlement.
