CONTENDS OF INSPECTION OF CONSTRUCTION DISPUTES
1- Determine the legal status of the case:
+ Check the current status and related documents (Finance documents: Construction contract, Design drawings, material certificates, acceptance documents, handover documents, as-built drawings, management records) quality and:
+ Make a report.
2- Determine the volume and quality performed at the field:
+ Check each item in the contract, settlement, and actual volume.
+ Checking the quality of concrete, iron and steel at the scene, the quality of finishing works: plastering, tiling, and actual dimensions compared with the final settlement documents.
3- Determine the unit price and performance value of the actual work:
+ Proposing a treatment plan, any items that are not available or are not correct will be discarded.
SVG ENGINEERING PROCESS OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT DISPUTES
Time to carry out inspection from July 19, 2022 to November 24, 2022 SVG Engineering releases the official report and conclusion. Here is a summary of our construction inspection process:
- First, we send a written notice of the implementation of examination to the Court and all relevant parties. The court will then send notice to the parties again in writing.
- We carry out survey, inspection, measurement, evaluation, inspection work at the site. The day-to-day field work was longer than expected due to the complex nature of the work as the work items are mainly underground, so the excavation, inspection, measurement and drawing take a lot of time while the construction phase takes a lot of time. In this case, there are very heavy rains that cause flooding of the ground. Summarizing the whole process of the field, We have recorded the scene along with photo appendices recording the field data. After that, we make a notice of the results of the site assessment and propose to extend the assessment time to the Court and related parties. The court then directly sent this notice to the parties involved. In this notice, we have asked the Court to hold an on-site appraisal or send our entire report to the Builder to notify the result and allow the Builder to have the right to ask questions. and verify it by October 7, 2022 before we take the next steps.
- At the construction laboratory LAS 09 at 268 Tran Nguyen Han, Hai Phong, SVG Engineering conducted experiments with samples in the presence of representatives of Hai Phong Steel Structure and Training Co., Ltd.
- We completed the drawing, inspection, determination of the volume and the preparation of minutes, agreeing on the applicable unit price with Hai Phong Steel Structure and Training Co., Ltd. At the same time, solving questions about volume and quality in the report inspection.
- SVG Engineering prepares a report to send to the Court and related parties to get the stakeholders who have any other questions so that we will supplement, edit and release the official report and conclusion.
- November 24, 2022: Release of official report and conclusion.
