1- Appraisal to determine the cause of construction subsidence and cracking:

a- For adjacent works under construction: We require supply: 

  • Geological survey documents
  • Construction design documents
  • Construction permit
  • Minutes of inspection of border construction conditions before granting construction permits or before construction begins
  • Construction measures for the foundation of the project (if any)
  • Construction method acceptance documents (if any)
  • Acceptance and quality management records of reinforced concrete pile construction and the entire project (if any)
  • Settlement monitoring records of project works and neighboring works (if any)
  • Other documents related to the construction to protect your rights (if any)

​b- For subsidence and cracking construction: We require supply: 

  • Construction design documents
  • Construction permit
  • Documents, videos, and photos related to subsidence and cracks in construction before, during, and after construction (if any)
  • Documents related to the dispute (if any)
  • Other documents related to the construction to protect your rights (if any)

c- For Construction Unit: We require supply: 

  • Construction diary
  • Construction methods for the foundation and the entire project
  • Project acceptance documents
  • Construction completion drawing

2- SVG Engineering conducts home appraisals:

- Conduct visual inspection, mark and measure any subsidence, cracks and breaks in the house.

- Use basic steel ruler to measure structures, combined with laser machine to measure house tilt.

- Geological survey 02 drills about 20m or to hard soil layer and physical testing of surveyed soil layers.

- Make a report of the appraisal at the end of the appraisal work, and together with the parties review the entire appraisal content.

- Internal analysis, reporting and conclusions. 

- Determine any damage to the construction structure (if any)

- Assess the extent of damage to determine whether a design for repair or reinforcement is required. If a design for repair or reinforcement is required:

  • Design to repair tilt and subsidence; Design to improve and reinforce if any
  • Prepare cost estimates and determine damage costs
