- Ensuring requirements on independence and objectivity.
CAPACITY REQUIREMENTS OF COMPANY, CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION UNITS IN VIETNAM
1. Organizations participating in quality inspection activities, determining causes of damage, useful life of parts of works, construction works, inspecting to determine causes of construction work incidents must satisfy meet the conditions corresponding to the capacity classes as follows:
a) Class I:
- The individual who assumes the prime responsibility for carrying out construction inspection must satisfy appropriate Class I construction inspection practice conditions;
- Individuals participating in construction inspection must have professional qualifications suitable for construction inspection;
- Having carried out construction inspection of at least 01 grade-I work or higher or 02 grade-II works of the same type or higher.
b) Class II:
- Individuals in charge of construction inspection must satisfy appropriate conditions for construction inspection practice of class II or higher;
- Individuals participating in construction inspection must have professional qualifications suitable for construction inspection;
- Having carried out construction inspection of at least 01 grade-II work or higher or 02 grade-III works of the same type or higher.
c) Class III:
- Individuals in charge of construction inspection must satisfy appropriate Class III construction inspection practice conditions;
- Individuals participating in construction inspection must have professional qualifications suitable for construction inspection.
3. Organizations participating in quality inspection of building materials, construction components and construction products must satisfy the following conditions:
a) A specialized construction laboratory must be used with tests recognized by a competent authority in accordance with the contents of the inspection;
b) The individual conducting the inspection has expertise suitable to the construction inspection work.
CAPACITY REQUIREMENTS OF PERSONALIZED CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION IN VIETNAM
1. The individual who assumes the title of presiding over the quality inspection, determining the causes of damage, and the useful life of the work part or construction work; The inspecting chairperson to determine the cause of construction accidents must satisfy the conditions corresponding to the following classes:
a) Class I: Having obtained a Class I construction design practice certificate or held the position of construction inspection chairperson of at least 01 Class I work or 02 Class II works of the same type or higher;
b) Class II: Having obtained a Class II construction design practice certificate or held the position of construction inspection chairperson of at least 01 Class II work or 02 Class III works of the same type or higher;
c) Class III: Having obtained a Class III construction design practice certificate or held the position of construction inspection chairperson of at least 01 Class III work or 02 Class IV works of the same type or higher;
2. Operational scope:
a) Class I: Hold the position of construction inspection leader of all works of the same type;
b) Class II: Having held the position of construction inspection leader for works of grade II or lower of the same category;
c) Class III: Holds the position of construction inspection leader for works of grade III or lower of the same category.
